About the Role

OpenLoop is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our team at our HQ in Des Moines, IA. This role will be a member of the People team, collaborating closely with the Senior Director of Human Resources.

What You'll Do

• Employee Lifecycle Support – Assist with onboarding, offboarding, internal transfers, and promotions by processing employee data, generating offer and change letters, and ensuring accurate documentation.
• HRIS & Data Management – Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
• Benefits & Leave Administration – Support employees with benefits enrollment, leave requests, and general inquiries, escalating issues as needed.
• Compliance & Documentation – Ensure proper documentation of HR processes, maintain employee records, and support compliance initiatives.
• Employee Support & Case Management – Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, managing a ticketing system or shared inbox.
• Process Improvement – Identify and implement efficiencies in HR processes, documentation, and workflows.
• HR Reporting & Audits – Assist in compiling reports on headcount, attrition, compliance, and other HR metrics.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and IT to ensure seamless employee experiences.
• Other duties as assigned

Who You Are

• Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in people operations, human resources administration, human resources shared services, or a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Basic understanding of HR policies, benefits, payroll, and compliance regulations.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Rippling, Paylocity, or similar).
  • Experience in telehealth, healthcare, or tech industries.
