About The Role:

OpenLoop’s AI-first care delivery platform is scaling fast. We’re seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead AI strategy and execution to support that growth. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and product innovation.  This product leader will drive the vision, development, and monetization of AI-powered experiences across our platform—delivering measurable value for patients, clinicians, and our business.

NOTE: 

• We are looking for talent to reside / work from the San Jose metro area. You will be required to report to an office in San Jose at least 3 times a week.
• Please note, if you are not living in / near the San Jose area, and are willing to relocate, we are not offering relocation for this position. 

What You’ll Do:

• Drive the AI Product Vision & Roadmap, owning the AI strategy, prioritizing high-impact features powered by GenAI and LLMs, to transform the patient and clinician experiences.
• Identify and execute opportunities that drive net-new revenue. focused on standalone AI products.
• Evaluate workflows and implement intelligent automation that improves quality, efficiency, and outcomes for Clinical & Operational Innovation.
• Research, experiment and launch GTM pilots, A/B tests, and data-driven experiments to unlock new ARR, boost retention, and improve activation metrics.
• Ensure ethical and responsible AI development, aligned with HIPAA, privacy, and healthcare regulatory standards.
• Ensure AI technology / solutions that have scalable capabilities, to support growth, evolution and competitive edge
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. engineering, design, legal, clinical, and business stakeholders) to ship fast and responsibly, providing regularly scheduled updates, on progress, changes, issues, and developments.
• Provide leadership and support to a small team of associate Product Managers, encouraging a positive culture of experimentation, confident accountability, and a strong balance of quality and speed. 
• Maintain a dedicated pulse on market trends, and competitive behavior, identifying opportunities for market differentiation.
• Travel approximately 10% as needed for business / team meetings, and other leadership level gatherings.

Who You Are

• 10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years leading AI/ML-powered products (LLMs, GenAI, NLP, recommendation systems).
• Proven ability to ship and scale AI features that drive revenue, improve operations, and elevate user experience—ideally in healthcare or other regulated industries.
• Technically fluent with AI/ML concepts, APIs, orchestration tools (LangChain, Vertex AI), and cloud platforms.
• Highly analytical and experienced with SQL, BI tools, experimentation frameworks, and KPI ownership (activation, payback, LTV).
• An entrepreneurial operator that thrives in ambiguity, can move fast but methodically in their work, with a focus toward shipping, testing, and iterating high impact solutions
• Strategic and effective communicator in both written and verbal presentation, aligns executives, engineers, and clinicians around a clear AI product vision with measurable impact.
• Bonus points !   experience in tele-health, HIPAA-compliant product development, MLOps, or launching zero-to-one AI products at a startup.
