About The Role
OpenLoop is seeking a
talented Customer Marketing Activation Specialist who will lead our customer
activation efforts. This position will focus on developing and executing
activation strategies that will promote and strengthen customer brands,
ultimately driving sales and revenue generation.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role.
It will require working 3 days onsite at our Des Moines office, on Tuesdays,
Wednesday and Thursdays and will include some travel, noted
below.
What You’ll Do:
- Create
awareness, generate interest, and drive qualified leads to support sales and
revenue growth through various marketing strategies and tactics
- Attend
weekly customer feedback meetings, to listen to their goals, challenges, and
ideate ways we can help them grow.
- Use customer data and feedback,
towards producing effective strategies that provide a personalized customer
experience.
- Be prepared to provide a diverse “arsenal” of brand activation
ideas and activities that aim to engage potential customers in meaningful,
memorable ways, (i.e. live events, digital interactions, or direct mail / print,
onsite activations, influencer partnerships, etc.).
- Project
manage the entire execution of customer activation programs and be accountable
for guiding internal teams and external agencies to hit
deadlines.
- Execute experiments (we move fast!) with beta
customers, dive deep into the analytics, and scale successes
quickly.
- Manage our offerings of “white glove” referral programs,
executing these at on-site employee activation events.
- Be available
for 30% travel (approx. 3 days out of every 2 weeks)

Who You Are:
- 3+ years of demand
generation marketing experience (D2C experience a plus).
- A data driven marketing
guru, understanding key metrics such as CAC, LTV, payback periods and what
levers drive these
- Experienced in owning complex, collaborative projects
such as a website design or launching an integration ABM campaign.
- Present with
exceptional communication skills, confident in being one of the “faces of
the brand” to customers
- Eager to drive and contribute to strategic projects for
the company in our rapid stage of growth.
- Possess a strong ability to articulate
thoughts and feedback clearly across levels.
- Fantastic organizational skills with a
strong sense of urgency and accountability.
- You are strong in the areas of follow
through and goal delivery, working with key customers, being accountable to what
we say we’re going to do and when we’re going to do it. You create trust with
these skills
- Ability to work independently and be comfortable “creating the path”
rather than walking it.
- Bonus Points if you have experience in the following
areas:
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing organization
- Experience with high
volume, transactional D2C companies
- Knowledge of the healthcare industry and
related marketing strategies.
