About the Role
OpenLoop is looking for a Forward Deployment
Engineer to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. This role sits
within Hey Revia, the AI workflow automation platform recently acquired by
OpenLoop. In this role, you will be responsible for integrating Hey Revia’s
advanced AI platform into real-world healthcare environments, working directly
with partners to deploy voice, messaging, and clinical workflow solutions that
deliver value from day one. Your work ensures our AI Care Engine can seamlessly
connect to clinical systems, telephony infrastructure, and patient engagement
tools across OpenLoop’s nationwide partner network.
What
You'll Do
- Lead technical deployments by architecting and
executing integrations for new healthcare partners, customizing Hey Revia’s
platform to their workflows and legacy systems
- Build the “last mile” of connectivity by
designing secure, reliable data pipelines that ingest and synchronize clinical
data with our AI services
- Configure and optimize communication infrastructure,
including voice and messaging channels, across diverse telephony networks to
support patient and care team engagement
- Work across the stack (APIs → databases →
infrastructure) to deliver production-ready solutions
- Collaborate with
engineering, product, and clinical teams to translate partner needs into crisp
technical execution
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical
field
- 3+
years of engineering experience shipping production-grade software in modern
cloud environments, with comfort moving across APIs, databases, and
infrastructure layers
- Deep experience integrating disparate systems,
including data ingestion, API interoperability, and third-party systems
integration
- Curiosity or hands-on experience with LLMs and operationalizing AI models
in production workflows
- Strong understanding of data security and compliance
best practices; experience handling sensitive data in regulated
environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex
technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and translate ambiguous partner
needs into clear technical requirements
