About The Role

OpenLoop is seeking a talented and creative Web Designer to support our exciting growth. This position is given the opportunity to build and continuously shape our brand's identity.   The ideal candidate for this role will thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment,  pushing creative boundaries, and seeing their designs come to life. This invaluable team player works closely with developers, marketing, sales, product, and critical stakeholders, to elevate our brands and drive performance across all stages of the customer journey.

NOTE:  This is a hybrid role. It will require working onsite at our Des Moines office Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays.

What You’ll Do:

• Own the design and iteration of multiple websites across OpenLoop brands.
• Design high-converting landing pages for marketing campaigns.
• Work closely with our conversion rate optimization team. You’ll dive deep into the data to understand what’s working, what’s not, and create new designs to drive rapid growth.
• Work closely with our web development team to ensure designs are accurately translated into code. Be obsessive about quality and site performance. 
• SEO is critical to our business. You will work with our SEO team to design with site speed and structure in mind. 
• Design printed materials such as sales brochures, posters, fliers, and direct mail materials (branded boxes, post cards, etc).
• Own the style of our digital ads across social, display, and other channels.

Who You Are: 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• 5+ years of web design experience, specifically on websites and landing pages.
• Experience designing for Wordpress websites.
• We are incredibly data driven. You’ll need to understand the fundamentals of SEO, with the ability deep-dive into website engagement and conversion data to understand the highest leverage opportunities for improvement and improve the user journey. 
• Experience with conversion rate optimization in high volume environments is strongly preferred.  
• Exceptional communication skills. You’ll be interfacing with numerous stakeholders and be a critical piece of strategic projects for the company in our rapid stage of growth. A strong ability to articulate thoughts and feedback clearly is a must. 
• Ability to work independently and be comfortable “creating the path” rather than walking it.

Bonus Points

While not required, any of the following experience is a nice plus:

• Experience working in a startup or fast-growing organization.
• Experience with high volume, transactional eComm design is a big plus. 
• Experience with designing landing pages and emails within HubSpot.
• Experience with designing for digital ads.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry and related marketing strategies.

Salary Range: $ 98,000 - $ 115,000 / annual salary
