Practice Authority Specialist

About the Role

The Practice Authority Specialist is responsible for establishing, tracking, and submitting collaborative practice agreements (CPA) between healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational policies. This role serves as a vital link between clinicians, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. The Practice Authority Specialist will handle task-based activities related to the establishment and documentation of collaborative practice agreements.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborative Practice Agreement Management:
    • Establish, submit and track CPAs for clinicians across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations.
    • Track the status and renewal timelines of CPAs, ensuring all agreements remain current and valid.
    • Serve as a liaison between midlevel clinicians and collaborating physicians to facilitate agreement execution and renewal.
  • Clinician Communication and Education:
    • Use existing resources to provide clear and comprehensive guidance to clinicians on collaborative practice requirements and processes.

Who You Are

  • 1+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, recruitment, licensure, or collaborative practice management preferred.
  • Experience in multi-state healthcare operations, especially in telehealth or large healthcare organizations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for simplifying complex regulatory concepts.
  • Experience with regulatory tracking systems, Excel, and GSuite; experience with Jira or similar tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of collaborative practice requirements and state-specific regulations.
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and credentialing best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications in regulatory compliance are a plus.
Remote Salary Range
$75,000$80,000 USD
