About the Role
OpenLoop is looking for
a SMB Inside Sales Director to join our team at HQ in Des
Moines, IA or remotely in the Midwest. In this role, you will be responsible for
spearheading and leading our global inside sales organization, with a strong
emphasis on the SMB healthcare segment. This leader will build, manage, and
optimize a high-velocity inside sales motion targeting independent providers and
group practices across primary care, dental, and chiropractic verticals. You’ll
oversee a team of offshore inside sales representatives, own top-of-funnel
pipeline creation, and partner closely with marketing and sales to drive
consistent revenue growth.
What
You'll Do
- Begin as an individual contributor, building out
pipeline and validating outbound strategies in a new market.
- Establish early
traction and foundational processes before hiring and scaling a high-performing
inside sales team.
- Build and lead a high-performing global inside sales
team, including offshore reps.
- Develop and execute the
outbound playbook for SMB healthcare verticals and Go To Market
Strategy.
- Define KPIs, coaching frameworks, and career paths for
inside sales reps.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing
leadership on ICP, messaging, and lead qualification.
- Own
inside sales team pipeline goals; drive high-quality meeting
generation.
- Monitor funnel metrics (connect rates, conversion
rates, meeting quality).
- Implement tools, workflows, and automation
to drive efficiency at scale.
- Continuously optimize messaging
based on market feedback from the field.
- Deeply understand the
buying behaviors of primary care providers, dental clinics, and
chiropractors.
- Guide inside sales reps to engage owners, office
managers, and front-desk decision-makers with empathy and business
value.
- Stay current with trends in SMB healthcare delivery and
reimbursement.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- 5–7+ years of SDR/BDR
leadership experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven
track record managing offshore or global SDR teams.
- Experience selling to or engaging with SMB healthcare providers – ideally
in primary care, dental, or chiropractic settings.
- Strong
understanding of outbound motion (calls, email, social) and how to scale it for
SMB.
- Analytical mindset with experience using Salesforce,
Outreach/Salesloft, Gong, etc.
- Excellent communication and
coaching skills.
- Prior startup or early-stage experience
scaling SDR functions from scratch.
- Experience launching
go-to-market motions in new verticals or geographies preferred.
- Desired location - Des Moines, IA or Midwest Region
