About the Role
OpenLoop is looking for
a Manager, Launch Support to join our team remotely or at HQ in
Des Moines, IA. In this role, you will be responsible for the critical
post-implementation, pre-launch phase of all new client engagements. This role
oversees the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of launch
operations to ensure every client program is configured accurately, handed off
smoothly, and activated on time.
You will also lead the launch of complex,
cross-functional initiatives — including alternative therapies and specialty
programs — requiring deep collaboration with technical, operational, and
client-facing teams. This is a high-impact role that requires both strategic
leadership and operational execution.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop a team of Launch Support Managers
responsible for client program readiness and launch execution.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of the launch phase from implementation
handoff through client go-live, ensuring quality and efficiency across all
engagements.
- Audit and approve platform configurations, workflows,
and integrations to ensure launch-readiness and mitigate risk.
- Own
cross-functional coordination across Sales, Clinical Operations, Patient
Support, Technical, Compliance, and Customer Success teams to manage timelines
and deliver successful client launches.
- Drive special initiatives, such
as alternative therapies and specialty launches, by partnering with product and
implementation teams to support scalable, client-ready workflows.
- Establish and improve launch processes, identify operational gaps, and
implement system-level solutions to drive consistency and
efficiency.
- Develop and maintain team documentation, playbooks, and
internal tooling to support scalable launch operations and knowledge
sharing.
- Serve as the escalation point for issues during the
pre-launch phase, ensuring resolution and alignment with internal teams and
client expectations.
- Contribute to strategic planning around
launch capacity, resource needs, and cross-functional alignment to support
business growth.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a
culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Other duties as
assigned.
Who
You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare
Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+
years of experience in project management, implementation, or operational
leadership, with at least 1–2 years in a people management or team lead
role.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and
teams in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong understanding of
platform configuration, integration workflows, QA, and operational
readiness.
- Experience launching new programs or products in
healthcare, SaaS, or health tech strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively
across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a systems-thinking mindset and strong process
improvement capabilities.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Asana,
Salesforce, and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, Notion).
