OpenLoop Health Receives 2023 Economic Impact Award

Greater Des Moines Partnership Selects OpenLoop as Recipient of the “Deal of the Year” Award

OpenLoop Receives Economic Impact Award

Des Moines, IA | September 27, 2023 - OpenLoop Health, a national leader in white-label telehealth support services, was selected as the 2023 Deal of the Year at the Greater Des Moines Partnership’s Economic Impact Awards.

Since its start in 1982, the Economic Impact Awards have recognized hundreds of local companies for their job creation, facility expansion and capital investment in Greater Des Moines. The ceremony took place on the evening of Tuesday, September 26th at the newly renovated Hotel Fort Des Moines, and honored organizations that have made significant contributions to the economic vitality of the city. OpenLoop is proud to be named one thanks to recent investments from the City of Des Moines and State of Iowa.

“This generous funding has allowed OpenLoop to continue expanding our local footprint to keep up with the booming client, clinician and patient demand we’re seeing in the virtual care market,” said OpenLoop CEO and Co-Founder, Jon Lensing. “As a native Iowan, I’m passionate about keeping our roots planted deep in this community and continuing to grow our operations with the best and brightest local talent.”

Earlier this month, OpenLoop celebrated the ribbon cutting of their 2nd floor office space at their downtown headquarters, making much needed room for their growing employee base. As the largest tenant in what was formerly the Bank of America Building, the company marked the milestone with a renaming of their Des Moines headquarters to the OpenLoop Tower

In the next three to five years, OpenLoop has plans to more than quadruple local headcount. To keep up with this anticipated hiring, they will be breaking ground on the 3rd floor of their space later this year. What was once the sparsely occupied Bank of America Building, has become home to the rapidly growing OpenLoop team - with no plans of slowing momentum.
