OpenLoop Health Launches Charitable Foundation

The OpenLoop Foundation makes first donations to support local Iowa charities benefiting children and adolescents

OpenLoop Launches Charitable Foundation

Des Moines, IA | October 25, 2023 - OpenLoop Health, a Des Moines-based virtual care company and national leader in white-label telehealth support services, announces the launch of its charitable foundation.

The OpenLoop Foundation will work to further the company’s vision of bridging the care gap and delivering Healing Anywhere through philanthropic giving and support of non-profit healthcare organizations. The foundation aims to promote local and national projects and initiatives that improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities with highly-specialized needs, limited resources and insufficient access to quality healthcare.

“We are thrilled to be able to support nonprofits that share similar missions to our own - expanding access to quality patient care,” said Jess Greiner, VP of Growth at OpenLoop. “Whether focused right here in Iowa or spread across the nation, together, we can have an even farther-reaching impact on quality of life and longevity for those we touch.”

The foundation officially launched this fall, with the first two contributions being made to local Iowa organizations in the company’s home state. The OpenLoop Foundation’s initial round of charitable investments were pointed at fostering impactful care delivery for youth.

  • ChildServe, an organization that improves the health and well-being of 6k children each year through specialized clinical, home and community-based programs. They are experts in pediatric rehabilitation and care for children and young adults who have a wide variety of developmental delays, disabilities, injuries and other special needs.

  • Orchard Place, an organization that works closely with children and youth who have mental health and behavioral challenges. By interceding early with appropriate care, their mission is to develop stronger futures for young clients.

“The team at OpenLoop are committed to creating an ecosystem of relationships and efficiencies that promote their vision of delivering Healing Anywhere. This vision is further made possible through the OpenLoop Foundation and its partners,” said Jim Van Eerden, Executive Director and Board Advisor for the Foundation.

The launch of the OpenLoop Foundation and its first two charitable investments in local organizations only reinforces OpenLoop’s long-standing commitment to expanding access to care for rural and underserved communities. Future rounds of donations will follow.
