The top digital health newsletters to subscribe to in 2027
Stay current with 18 digital health newsletters on AI, telehealth, and beyond
By OpenLoop® Health | October 22, 2026 | 10 min read
Digital health moves fast, and keeping up shouldn’t feel like a second job. A good newsletter does the sorting for you, so you can spend your time on decisions instead of headlines.
This guide covers 18 of the top digital health newsletters to read in 2027, from twice-weekly briefings to monthly deep dives. They fall into four groups: digital health, telehealth, health IT, and healthcare AI. Start with the table below, then jump to the section that fits how you work.
How we chose these newsletters
We looked for newsletters that give digital health leaders a real return on a few minutes of reading. Each newsletter, other than OpenLoop’s own, was evaluated against five questions:
- Audience: Do industry leaders read it, and is that readership engaged?
- Quality: Is the reporting or analysis original, clearly sourced, and written by named experts?
- Reputation: Do practitioners and other newsletter writers recommend it?
- Consistency: Is it publishing on a regular schedule as of October 2026?
- Relevance: Does it help leaders working in digital health, telehealth, health IT, or healthcare AI?
Newsletters that fell short on independence, recent activity, or fit were left out. Several publications are owned by companies in the industry, so we note ownership where it applies. OpenLoop’s own newsletters were not part of this evaluation.
Disclosure: This list is not a ranking. The numbers group the newsletters and do not signal preference.
